A couple of years after I had to shut down one of my startup companies, a female employee I'd worked with from time to time met up with me to catch up over dinner. She told me I was the only male boss she'd ever had who had not attempted in any way to impose himself on her. I continue to be saddened by the fact so many people are so toxic and, frankly, so infantile in the workplace. Good for you that you left the job asap despite the financial hit it must have implied.
