A great if rather depressing article, Toni. Personally I thought the WSJ salesletter was a classic example of hilariously bad rubbish and risible in the extreme but apparently my view is very much in the minority if the numbers are to be believed. I am thus greatly relieved that I never attempted to earn a crust by writing marketing copy. Apparently one must have an even lower opinion of people's intelligence than my own highly cynical estimation.
