A nice article, Alyssa, but perhaps you could have elaborated more on the perils of junk food: hypertension, sugar high-then-crash, total lack of essential micronutrients leading to all kinds of deficiency diseases, etc. Anyone aspiring to even modest levels of health should avoid McSlop and Kentucky Fried Cancer and Diabetes-Cola entirely, along with all other junk and processed foods. These things are quite literally unfit for human consumption.
