A thoughtful a article. Were you able to incorporate foreign-sourced data in your studies? I seem to remember reading a French study a couple of decades ago in which the researchers sampled two quite large groups (20,000+) in the USA and in Western Europe. The results were quite sad: approximately 30% of US women reported reaching orgasm sometimes or always during sexual intimacy while 70% rarely or never reached orgasm during sexual intimacy. In the Western European group the statistics were precisely the opposite way around, implying that cultural factors can have an enormous influence on individual sexual responsiveness.
