A very helpful article, thanks for writing! I’d just like to say that everyone will have a somewhat different experience of ageing, and so there’s no one-size-fits-all. But your overview will, I suspect, help a lot of people.
For myself, at 61 I have 9% body fat, my BP is 121/78, and I’m sexually active on average twice a day for around 40 minutes per session, without need for any chemical assistance because I exercise strenuously every day (aerobic and weight training) and eat only healthy foods that I prepare myself at home.
Many people suffer from sexual dysfunction because they are physically indolent and their diet is atrocious. So while reaching for chemical assistance can make sense in some circumstances, in many cases simply making better lifestyle choices can have an even more dramatic impact.
