Ah, I fear you missed my point entirely. When I pointed out that even a single human being has no coherent "will" and is in reality a mass of contradictory impulses, many of which are easily manipulated by others, I was making the point that ordinary people are incompetent. Thus, the idea of letting them vote is obviously going to result in very sub-optimal outcomes. When we add to this personal ignorance and incoherence the empirical evidence that shows people are swayed by such irrelevancies as the weather and the recent performance of their sports teams, we see that democracy is an entirely unsuitable method of governance - unless, that it, one thinks Trump, Brexit, Modi, Orban, et al are "successes."
