Although Newton famously described gravity as a force, modern physics doesn't see it that way. In terms of Einstein's spacetime, gravity is the result of mass warping spacetime - not a force, but a geometrical construct. And as there is presently no quantum description of gravity, it can't be thought of as a force in quantum mechanics either. When discussing something as fundamental as gravity it is quite important to get the core concepts right and to use the words conventionally associated with those concepts. Or, alternatively, use the field equations of General Relativity, which convey the core concept much more elegantly and completely.
