An excellent investigation, and a timely reminder that people ought to do some research before believing whatever is pumped out in the media. The media relies on a constant stream of sensationalism to grab monetizable eyeballs, and this leads to (a) shoddy journalism, and (b) misleading coverage. Of course there are also propaganda outfits like Fox, WSJ, Breibart, et al that are purely in the business of lying to the simple-minded, but anyone with more than zero active neurons in their frontal cortex already ignores such toxic trash as a matter of habit.
