Biden And The Bomb
How a well-meaning but profoundly inadequate man may have guaranteed thermonuclear devastation
It’s easy to feel sorry for “Sleepy Joe” Biden. Unlike the vermin Trump and his slithering enablers in the US Republican Party, Biden was a fundamentally well-intentioned man. He didn’t want to use the Presidency purely for personal gain, but unfortunately he didn’t really know what he wanted it for. He spent his entire life wanting to be President but when that dream was finally fulfilled in his dotage he had absolutely no idea what to do once he slid his frail body behind the wildly mis-named Resolute Desk.
Many of Biden’s many blunders arose from the fact that while history had marched inexorably onward, poor old Sleepy Joe remained firmly in the 1950s, dreaming of strong unions, well-paid blue-collar manufacturing jobs, and strong US exports. In other words, Biden believed what the vermin Trump merely pretends to believe so as to garner votes from all the empty-heads who reflexively worship their bloated infantile orange messiah. Unlike Trump, Biden didn’t plunge the USA into even more debt in order to give more tax breaks to billionaires; instead, he plunged the USA into more debt through foolish and largely unnecessary stimulus packages targeting the great mass of non-billionaires.
