Couldn't agree more. I recently witnessed a woman totally destroy her marriage as a result of drinking herself unconscious and then resuming alcohol consumption shortly afterward. This led to very low-quality mood, which she "explained" to herself as being entirely the fault of her partner. So she took out her discomfort and anger on him, which ultimately led to the end of the marriage. She's still in total denial about her alcohol dependence, so there's every chance she'll repeat the same behavior in her next relationship. We've normalized alcohol consumption but there really should be warning labels at the very least, and much more adequate education would be preferable.
