Disputing empty propaganda is rarely a productive enterprise. Our main problem in the West continues to be our inability to grasp existential threats and react appropriately. Our supine inactivity in the face of repeated Russian aggression (Georgie 2008, Ukraine twice in 2014, Ukraine 2022) led Putin to believe he could act with impunity. As a result, hundreds of thousands have died and many more will die while the West continues to vacillate.
