Elizabeth, this was an interesting and well-argued article. I suspect you’ll get a lot of blowback, as today’s transiently acceptable posture is contrary to your thesis as presented here. But good for you for having the intellectual courage to take a contrary stance; let’s hope one or two of the responses you get contain attempts at logical reasoning as opposed to merely repeating tropes and cliches about The Patriarchy, which is basically today’s version of Possession, the Freemasons, International Jewry, and Capitalism.
