Elon Musk has one great talent: the ability to conjure up a whizzy dream and get gullible venture capitalists to throw money at him.

It’s notable that his actual results, with the single exception of SpaceX, don’t remotely live up to his early claims. But apparently he can keep the momentum going far longer than one would have thought possible.
