Why Zelensky needs to start fighting across new battlespaces

The last couple of months have been interesting for all of us who stand outside the endless torrent of sensationalist babble generated by social media and the large media organizations. On the one hand we’ve seen hundreds of thousands of ordinary well-meaning people protesting in favor of murder and genocide while on the other hand we’ve seen total silence regarding actual ongoing murder and genocide.

All because of the power of social media memes and soundbites.

Free Palestine! camps have been set up on university campuses around the West, mass marches have been staged, and thousands of hours of media time have been devoted to protestors throwing around words like genocide, all thanks to the fashion for pretending “peace” is something that can be achieved by ignorant empty-headed Westerners waving silly placards and chanting empty slogans. It’s a delightful piece of performative self-indulgence.

These protestors seem unconcerned by the fact the current crisis in the Middle East was initiated by Hamas terrorists killing 1,139 mostly unarmed Israeli civilians and kidnapping more than 250 others, around forty of whom are estimated to be dead now.
