From listening to Trump’s extempore ramblings it is pretty clear he’s merely an infantile halfwit and, these days, most probably quite a long way down the road of senile dementia. It says a lot about our unthinking fetishization of representative democracy that 43 million people voted for him and we still think its an adequate system of governance.
