How Russia Will Take The Baltic Countries

Why World War III has already begun, despite Western obtuseness in realizing the fact

Most people are taught that World War II began on 1st September 1939 because that was when the British and the French finally faced up to the fact that all the appeasement in the world wasn’t going to stop Hitler’s Germany from continuing to invade its neighbors. In reality, however, WWII began on 7th March 1936, the date upon which Hitler marched a mere 6,000 soldiers into the Rhineland in blatant violation of the Treaty of Versailles and thereby established for all the world to see, the inaction and weakness of the so-called Great Powers whose role was supposedly to prevent Germany from becoming a fully militarized state.

Just as is the case today, back then the West was full of fearful apologists who conjured up all manner of reasons why nothing should be done. Complacent Westerners looked away as Hitler went on to annex Austria and then to invade Czechoslovakia. In every case there were endless reasons why standing up to the shouty little dictator was a terrible idea, and in every case Western failure made global war all the more inevitable.

Today, as the West sits on its hands and politicians conjure up ever-more reasons why nothing can be done to stop Putin from crushing…
