I take issue with the notion that there are some Republican politicians who are "worthy of respect." One cannot remain within a Party that commits itself to destroying the nation one claims to love and still be deserving of anything even remotely approaching tolerance, never mind anything more. The fact is, all Republican politicians have tacitly supported undermining of the Supreme Court, tearing terrified children from the arms of their parents & throwing them into cages, supporting white supremacy, pretending that anti-fascist groups are "terrorists" and more disgraceful acts than I have time or desire to list here. There is simply no way today that one can support the Republican Party in any form and still consider oneself a decent human being. And I speak as one who regards the Democratic Party as a joke.
