I adored this article, but…. Perhaps most things are utilized gainfully by only a few people. After all, how many really used public libraries, went to the opera, or learned new languages or explored the further realms of physics? For myself, I’ve found it to be a boon, giving me access to information that otherwise would have been laborious and expensive to explore. But then again I turn my phone off for at least 12 hours each day and read on average four books a week, so I’m anomalous.
