I don’t watch much SciFi because it’s usually brain-dead, but have you tried the Netflix series Лучше Чем Людей (incorrectly titled in English “Better than Us”)? It’s a Russian-language effort and although the subtitles are poorly done they are enough to follow the story and if you speak some Russian the dialog is clean enough (free of slang etc) to follow along easily without the subtitles. Yes, it is somewhat derivative of Ex Machina and the UK series Humans but still amusing enough for casual entertainment and without the constant Hollywood violence that mars US productions.
