I hate to sound blase but it’s probably unrealistic to expect anything other than mindless trash from Hollywood because mindless trash is what makes the most money. I can’t think of a single “role model” male or female, aimed at anyone at all, that isn’t profoundly stupid and harmful. That’s why I never watch anything churned out by Hollywood — I don’t eat McSlop and I certainly don’t want the entertainment equivalent polluting my mind either.
