I love the chicken. Maybe you can explain to business people the difference between adopt and adapt? I’ve heard far too many people talking about “early adapters” when they really mean “early adopters.” But, sigh, there’s really no end to it. How about “should of” instead of the correct “should have?” Or “I did it on mistake” instead of “I did it by mistake.” It seems prepositions, diacritics (“Three egg’s for the price of two”) and pretty much every aspect of the English language can be mishandled and abused. Perhaps it’s time to establish a shelter. Or a coop….
