I remain entirely perplexed why so many people seem to imagine that creating fat-and-salt laden "vegan" options for standard nutrient-deficient McSlop is considered a worthwhile activity. The so-called "meat alternatives" are so full of unhealthy additives as to be just as bad as their meat-based alternatives and, when the total lifecycle cost is assessed, nearly as polluting. It seems vegans are just as susceptible to believing specious hype as everyone else. As for tofu: high in fat, tasteless, and also high in aluminium which has long been implicated in Alzheimer's Disease.
