I think we need to accept the fact the Biden administration's goal is for Ukraine to lose slowly, not for it to succeed in expelling the Russian invaders. Biden is a senile imbecile trapped in the mentality of the Cold War era and is simply not capable of grasping the world has radically changed. This is why he's so eager to ensure continuity in Russia - he thinks the USA and Russia will "negotiate" once Russia has seized enough of Ukraine to satify Putin's dictatorial requirements. Harris is unlikely to be capable of any greater perspicacity, and the Trump-Vance duo are openly eager to hand Ukraine to Russia. No wonder Zelensky sometimes talks with less than perfect diplomatic circumlocutions. He's watching his country being terrorized by fascist invaders and the White House is full of morons. Just like in the first few years of WWII where Roosevelt made lots of nice speeches but then did.... absolutely nothing. If Germany hadn't foolishly allied itself with Japan, which then attacked Pearl Harbor, the USA would never have become belatedly involved in opposing Hitler's European conquests.
