I thought the entropy violation that Hawkins worried about was solved by what’s become known as the holographic principle? And likewise, doesn’t the math that describes the creation of an Einstein-Rosen bridge between two entangled black holes also show that the bridge grows faster than anything can travel through it, meaning that particles can’t be transferred between two black holes (or, in the case of your speculation, between a black hole and its putative white hole counterpart)?
