I visited Good Vibrations in its original SF store back in the '90s and was instantly struck by how delightfully sane and normal everyone, and everything, was. Especially as after a few years in the USA (even the somewhat liberal SF Bay Area) I was beginning to feel entirely out-of-place as a European. The open and healthy attitudes towards sexuality promoted by Good Vibes was like experiencing a shower of warm rain on a sultry summer's day: refreshing, invigorating, and cleansing. Thankfully they're still in business even today.
