I’m curious about the role of dark matter in the formation & growth of black holes. As dark matter (whatever it may be) does interact gravitationally with baryonic matter, this rather implies that it ought to be pulled into a black hole just like dust, etc. gets pulled in and thus presumably add to the mass of the black hole? But how would we know if that was occurring, as there would be (presumably) no EM signature of such a thing.
