I'm deeply skeptical of any article that uses cliches like "men have commitment phobia." Many years ago, when writing a book on evolutionary psychology, I made some predictions regarding the stability of relationships and the likely patters we'd see once sufficient data became available. Based on cognitive evolutionary theory, I predicted precisely what the data is now apparently showing, and the reasons have nothing whatsoever to do with silly cliches. This topic deserves a thoughtful and properly informed article, not a trite superficial gloss.
