I'm personally very disappointed in the NRA. Guns are, after all, practically harmless. What we really need is to ensure every patriotic US citizen can buy whatever defensive weapons they truly need - for example why should I not be allowed to buy a blackhawk helicopter along with full munitions? Or, should I choose pride of ownership in a surface vehicle, an Abrams tank complete with full loading of AP rounds? And, if I no longer want to pussyfoot around, I ought to be able to protect my home by acquiring an ICMB with 30 kiloton MIRVs. But the NRA remains silent on these crucial basic human rights, which is why I no longer pay my dues.
