I’m truly astonished at the fact people get all worked up about their covid-19 risk while ignoring their persistent over-eating and smoking. Their actual lifetime risk of death from either of these things, never mind the combination, is hundreds of times higher than their present risk of dying from covid-19. Yet they’re all hysterical about the virus while remaining totally complacent about their poor-quality life choices. Which is, frankly, insane. It’s like being a low-quality driver but worrying about dying from a terrorist incident.
