It could have been useful in this article to cite other studies that indicate active learning (the acquisition of a new skill such as advanced calculus, learning a new musical instrument, etc.) can likewise induce neuropositive effects whereas simply repeating a known skill (playing sudoku or doing the crossword every day) shows no such benefit.
