It is fervently to be hoped that after E2 (not E1 - she was the redhead Tudor) dies, the British monarchy will decline from its absurdly anachronistic position and become more akin to the European relics: quiet, discrete, meaningless. The UK, especially post-Brexit, is already far too backward-looking.
