It is important to separate out empty hype from facts. We don't actually know why NASA has suspended work on their quantum computing project and there could be a great many reasons. What we can be sure of is that the Skynet doomster nonsense is risible - the fact the halfwit Musk has embraced it tells us all we need to know about its intellectual content. The last thing we need is an article that intentionally sensationalizes what is in reality nothing at all except speculation based on a misunderstanding (or lack of comprension) of both quantum computing and generative models.
