It used to be that only the USA was impossible to parody; now it seems the UK has joined the party as well. What's particularly amusing about this MoD article is its complete lack of any substance whatsoever - no doubt highly appropriate, under the circumstances... As the UK has an aircraft carrier with no aircraft and no defensive systems, and an ever-shrinking army, and an airforce in which half the fighter squadrons are utilized as spare parts, we can assume the UK SpaceForce will end up being 3,000 bureaucrats standing behind a small boy who's brandishing a catapult. But it will be a glorious British catapult, the kind that enables the nation to take back control of space and make the UK great again.
