It's a testimony to how little ordinary people know about history (well, in fact, about anything...) that appeasement remains so popular among a small minority across the West. As appeasement has always failed everywhere and at every time (as have sanctions....) it's astonishing that it's so easy for Russian propaganda to dupe so many empty-headed people in the West. Perhaps we should try teaching history - real history - in schools? Just a crazy idea...
