It's always interesting to see how the psychology of left and right play out. The right pursues power for its own sake by every means available, while the left eats itself in perpetual internecine squabbles over who's more politically correct than whom. It would be fascinating to determine what deep psychological traits draw people to left-leaning positions versus those who in less complicated fashion are content to grab power regardless of superficial justifications and transient political posturing.
