It's difficult to see any prospect of improvement with regard to US law enforcement. The wrong type of people are hired, the training is laughably inadequate, and the emphasis is always on violence. In Ukraine back in 2015 the then-President had to fire practically all the traffic police because they were irredeemably corrupt; it's implausible to imagine any US city, never mind the entire nation, attempt to root out the systemic problems inherent in the US model. There will be plenty of theater over the next few weeks but then everything will return to its dysfunctional norm.
