As for the speculations at the end of the article, the author seems to have neglected to remember that although quantum behaviors are counter-intuitive, because every quantum interaction dissipates over larger scales, the universe we experience as very large objects is not quantum-mechanical and thus the assertions at the end of the article are entirely negated.
