It's the usual British shambles, with the Prime Minister babbling inanely, poor management everywhere we look, and a total lack of foresight. Brexit clearly has contributed to this mess, but it's not the only driving factor. Had Brexit not been imposed, the UK's food chain would be far more resilient but we can all pretend it's "really" due to the global coronapanic.
As for the future, the UK has an imbecile as PM, a bunch of third-raters in government, a public that is ignorant and complacent beyond belief, management that remains globally sub-par, and an economy that will only continue to deteriorate as the long-term impacts of Brexit make themselves known.
Added to this is the risible notion that the UK will be "all green" by 2035 and that from 2030 only EVs will be on sale - despite there being woefully insufficient capacity and no possibility of any meaningful improvement over the next 9 years.
All in all, this is a clear indication that anyone who can get out should do so asap. Brexit doomed the UK and the current shambles is a tiny foretaste of things to come.
