I've a better idea: the "anomaly" isn't the result of the fact we actually know very little about how solar systems form and evolve. Instead, it's clearly the work of God's angels sending us discrete signals. If we analyze the orbital frequencies we'll see they (almost, maybe....) correspond to the Hallelujah chorus from Handel's Messiah.

Or, to put it another way, just because a researcher needs to get another RO1 grant and knows the best way is by publishing sensationalistic nonsense, it doesn't mean we all have to be mindless and credulous. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence, not a vague hand-waving and a lack of sufficient empirical data.
