Just one more example of how no society aspiring to civilized humane norms can tolerate religionism in any form. Religionism is necessarily regressive because all religious myths draw their authority from the record of old tribal myths. As these don’t change while societies are always evolving, it necessarily follows that for religionists society must be “wrong” for failing to conform to whatever nonsense those ignorant goat-herders of old used to believe. Hence there is always desire on the part of religionists to impose their antiquated ideals on the rest of society, to its perpetual detriment.
