Lavrov is a classic example of a hollow creature. It wasn't informed of the invasion prior to it happening, and it has no relevance to any real-world event. Lavrov as a spineless creature will bend in whichever way its master desires and will happily be trampled underfoot so long as it gets to eat at the trough occasionally and pretend it is in some vague way "important." In short, no one in the entire world should care what the creature Lavrov says about anything, because Lavrov is utterly unimportant. As for "negotiations" with Russia, only stupid people imagine this concept has any meaning. Russia always uses "negotiations" merely to buy time and dupe the empty-heads around the world who are so ignorant and so stupid they can't grasp the basics. So at this point, because Russia is clearly winning thanks to the US Republican Party and Orban in Hungary, both now blocking all further aid to Ukraine, Russia has no interest in "negotiations." This will of course change if Ukraine is somehow able to regain momentum, but today that seems very unlikely thanks to Western stupidity and endless cowardice.
