Loss ratios are very misleading. Russia has the capacity to repair and replace equipment whereas Ukraine does not. As Europe has nothing left to donate and as the USA is now precluded from any assistance via the US Republican Party's pro-Kremlin stance, this means that every Ukrainian loss is effectively irreplaceable whereas Russian losses can either in part or in whole be made good. McNamara in the VietNam era showed the folly of thinking loss data had any impact on the outcome of a war. We should learn from experience and not repeat the same error.
