More empty threats from the Kremlin. Boring, tedious, lacking in all credibility. We've already seen how inept and incapable Russian forces are, except for shelling civilian infrastructure. If Putin was stupid enough to order a strike against a NATO country, it would be the end of Russia's capacity to project any kind of force because at that point NATO would be forced out of its position of supine inactivity and NATO's technical superiority would crush any Russian defenses. It's unclear why people in the Kremlin still cling to the idea that their empty blustering has any residual effect, except perhaps its success in the past has led Russian propagandists to believe that if it previously worked then it ought to work forever.
