Musk is an ideal Republican - not very intelligent, hopelessly ill-informed, no impulse control, an ego that is so inflated that the tiniest prick will make him squeal like a small child, and the belief that the entire universe revolves around his halfwit fantasies. And, like many Republican politicians, he owes his supposed success in reality to the work of others while he grandstands in order to garner the approbation of people who are so gullible they'd never dream of doing even some basic research. All in all, I suspect Musk sees himself as President any day now, and who's to say he's not correct? If a brainless whiny child-creature like Trump can get there, even a dead snail with the right TV show can do it. So expect to see The Elon Musk Hour or some equivalent trash TV effort in the very near future.
