How the USA will continue to be torn apart by its “leader” in the service of foreign powers
Trump has made an impressive start. Back in the White House for a mere two months he’s already put in place most of what’s needed to cripple the US economy and trigger a second Great Depression around the world. He’s made it clear that the USA has zero interest in working with allies and instead regards former allies as weak and therefore suitable for bullying and extortion. He’s ensured everyone with a functioning intellect now understands NATO is an empty shell and that Asian nations are on their own. He’s actively promoted the idea that laws are to be blatantly ignored by the powerful and that crimes such as pedophilia and sexual abuse make a person worthy of the highest offices in the land. He’s also destabilized the West with his threats to invade Greenland and suborn Canada, and his blatant pandering to Putin has put the USA firmly on the side of Russia, North Korea, and China in the United Nations and beyond. Meanwhile DOGE is doing a reasonable job of ensuring no part of the US government can function.
