No, no, no. The body is a homeostasis machine. As such there are no "easy hacks" for anything to do with a complex biological system. Anything will work for a short time, and then... you'll be back where you started. All the fad diets, the stupid articles on the Internet, and promises of easy weight loss are lies because they pretend the body can be "hacked."

In reality, the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to change your life completely. No more buying junk at the supermarket - if it's not in your house, it's harder to reach when your willpower predictably evaporates. No more sitting on the sofa gawping at the TV - get out and move. Walk, cycle, swim, go to the gym. Do it every single day, aside from one rest day per week.

Eat healthy foods - plenty of fruits & vegetables and a well-balanced diet that includes the things humans (obligate omnivores) require, such as fish, red meat, and eggs - all in moderation.

There are no shortcuts to losing weight. You gained it because your lifestyle choices were incorrect. Only by changing the way you live can you successfully become healthy. Everything else, like this article, is simply a waste of your time.
