Nobody outside of an insane asylum would for a moment believe that European nations are going to act in any meaningful way more than 1,000 days after Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine. Not only is political will entirely absent (don't ever mistake the generic windy speeches of supine politicians to be an indication of any real-world action) but there is zero military capability as well. More than thirty years of insane defense cuts have left Europe without any capacity to defend itself; worse yet, as the USA is now Trumpville Alabama and as the USA has veto over the use of any weapons system that relies on US components, Europe can't use any equipment that has anything of US origin. So of what little it had, perhaps 50% will be subject to veto. Appeaser In Chief Biden showed what spineless cowardice and stupidity can do; Trump will now demonstrate what his adoration of Putin will yield. Meanwhile, Europeans are nearly as obese and mentally indolent as their US counterparts, so the idea of raising taxes to attempt fractionally less inadequate defense is off the table entirely. This means that we'll hear more windy speeches but as usual there will be no meaningful action. And that's why tyrants always win: not because they're strong, but because we're so endlessly weak.
