Nothing Biden could do would slow down the Republican takeover of the USA. For more than 30 years the GoP has been committed to attaining power by any means, and under Trump they found they had carte blanche to do whatever they wanted, because Republican voters are so brain-dead they think autocratic tyranny is "patriotic." The USA is over; Biden is merely presiding over a very brief and ineffectual interlude before the country plunges further into despotism.
