Oh dear. This article begins badly and gets worse from there. I'm sure the author means well, but as he clearly understands nothing whatsoever about cosmology, his fundamental thesis is consequently absurd. There are thousands of people who seem to think that a complete lack of comprehension permits them to "understand" complex phenomenon. Some of them enter politics, some write Medium articles. At least the latter are harmless.
