On the other hand, 15 hours in economy is a great way to induce blood clots in your legs, especially as you get older. It used to be you could get up and walk around at regular intervals but after 9/11 we all became seat prisoners. When I was young I could endure nearly anything, but since turning 50 a long-haul in economy leaves me drained. I’d rather chat to people in the local gym after I arrive at my destination rested and ready to go, than suffer the health impact of economy in the hope of occasionally sitting next to someone interesting.
